The Magical Key
Across the ocean on a land far way,
There is someone special with a magical key.
There are ups and downs from day to day,
But I close my eyes and look within me,
And I know that someone is here to stay.
When life had trapped me with nowhere to go,
She smiled at me and opened her heart,
And from the depths of this life's terrible low,
I found the place from which I will never depart,
From within her heart my love will grow.
Though physical distance may seem so great,
I send my love upon the glorious waves,
To that land far away where my loved one waits,
And I sit by the seaside where the east wind raves,
From within that breeze I feel my soulmate.
The day fast approaches for her journey across the sea,
When our body, heart and soul will become one,
And together thereafter we'll face one destiny,
All the loneliness, sadness and misery forever gone,
Oh, how I'm grateful for that magical key.
